A former elite-level swimmer, IT consultant, and BANT-registered Nutritional Therapist, combining lived experience in sport, work and family with rigorous evidence-based nutrition practice.
I am Kirsten Cameron, a BANT and CNHC registered ION (Institute of Optimum Nutrition) qualified Nutritional Therapist. I hold an MSc in Personalised Nutrition and am currently completing a second MSc in Nutrition in Practice through Leeds Beckett University, an AfN-accredited Masters programme. A former elite-level swimmer, I have worked for many years as a contractor on IT projects and running my own consultancy business. I am well aware of the importance of good nutrition when juggling high-level sport with the demands of everyday life.
As I've continued training and competing in open-water events and masters swimming, I've found my nutrition needs changing significantly year to year, event to event, as I gracefully 'mature'. I now want to help you navigate your nutrition path as you continue training, competing, and improving, to ensure you are nourished and fuelled as best you can be for health, longevity and performance.
I now work with clients around the world, helping them improve their health, energy and performance through practical, evidence-based nutrition.
A continuing commitment to study across nutritional therapy, exercise physiology, herbal medicine, and the specific demands of women in sport.
